Sneezing, blocked nose, itchy skin or constant tiredness? One blood draw checks immediate (IgE) allergies and delayed (IgG4) food reactions, so you know what to avoid.
Our staff speak Mandarin. You are welcome to message us on LINE in English.
WHY A BLOOD TEST
Immediate allergies (IgE) appear within minutes to 2 hours and are easier to trace. Delayed food reactions (IgG4) appear 24–72 hours later with vague symptoms — tiredness, blocked nose, bloating, itchy skin, headaches — that are almost impossible to trace yourself. Note: IgG4 shows how much your immune system has been exposed to a food, and experts disagree on using it to diagnose food intolerance. We use it as one reference for adjusting your diet, together with your symptoms — never as a reason to cut out foods based on a number alone.

HOW IT WORKS
Message us on LINE or call. Tell us which tests you need — a photo of your company's form or your doctor's list is fine.
Bring your passport or ARC (Resident Certificate). Tests are self-pay; you do not need an NHI card or a doctor's referral.
Blood is drawn by a licensed medical technologist and takes only a few minutes. Some tests need 8 hours of fasting — water is fine.
If your blood is drawn before 09:30, the electronic report can be ready the same evening. We explain any results outside the normal range.
FAQ
No fasting is needed. You don't need to stop antihistamines or nasal sprays — they do not affect blood IgE (they affect skin prick tests). If you take high-dose oral steroids or immunosuppressants, tell us first.
No. A positive result means your immune system reacts, not that you will always get sick. High IgE plus real symptoms usually means avoid it for now; IgG4 is a reference to read with your symptoms. We do not recommend cutting out a long list of foods — usually you adjust a few items for 4–8 weeks and review.
Usually from age 2–3, once the child eats a varied diet. Younger children with clear symptoms should see a pediatrician or allergist first.
NHI covers around 36 common allergens when a doctor orders them for symptoms. Self-pay panels have no such limits and include many foods, spices and herbs common in Taiwan.
