Employment health checkup|
Everything your new job needs, in one visit

A new job in Taiwan usually asks for a health checkup. We do the whole list in one visit — blood, urine, chest X-ray and the basic physical measurements — and fill in your company's form.

  • From NT$1,000
  • Chest X-ray included
  • We fill in your company's form
  • Group bookings for companies

Not sure which package you need? Send a photo of your company's form on LINE and we will tell you.

WHAT IS CHECKED

What does an employment checkup include?

From our medical technologist

The most common reason a checkup is rejected is a missing test, not an abnormal result: food handlers need hepatitis A and a typhoid stool test, caregivers need hepatitis B. Please check your company's form first, or send it to us, and we will follow it exactly.

The general worker checkup includes fasting glucose and blood fats, so please fast for 8 hours (water is fine). The food handler and childcare packages only test for infections and do not need fasting. The chest X-ray is taken on site; a doctor's reading takes about 1–3 days.

For companies: if you hire often or have many staff, we can arrange group checkups and a company account. Tests can be added or removed to match your requirements. Employment checkups are self-pay and not covered by NHI.

Your company's form: just bring it. We do the tests listed and fill in the results; the physical measurements (height, weight, waist, blood pressure, hearing, color vision, vision, skin of hands) are done on site. If the form needs a photo, please bring one. If the form lists a test we do not offer, we will tell you before we start.

Migrant workers, please note: the official entry and periodic health examinations for migrant workers (and health checks for residence permits) must be done at hospitals designated by Taiwan's Ministry of Health and Welfare. We do not issue those official certificates. We can do general employee checkups and the self-pay tests your employer or agency asks for — send us the list on LINE and we will check it for you.

HOW IT WORKS

Four steps, from booking to your report

  1. Book

Message us on LINE or call. Tell us which tests you need — a photo of your company's form or your doctor's list is fine.

  2. Bring your ID

Bring your passport or ARC (Resident Certificate). Tests are self-pay; you do not need an NHI card or a doctor's referral.

  3. Sample collection

Blood is drawn by a licensed medical technologist and takes only a few minutes. Some tests need 8 hours of fasting — water is fine.

  4. Get your report

If your blood is drawn before 09:30, the electronic report can be ready the same evening. We explain any results outside the normal range.

FAQ

Before you come

Do I need to fast?

The general worker, worker + food handler and caregiver packages include fasting glucose and blood fats, so please fast for 8 hours (water is fine). The food handler and childcare packages only test for infections and do not need fasting.

How soon will I get the report?

Blood and urine results can be ready the same evening if your sample is taken before 09:30. A doctor reads the chest X-ray in about 1–3 days. Stool cultures (typhoid, amoeba, dysentery) take a few days. If you have a deadline, tell us when you book.

Can you use my company's form?

Yes. Bring it and we will do the tests on it. If it lists a test we do not offer, we will tell you first. If you have no form, we use our own.

Is this the official migrant worker health check?

No. The official entry and periodic health examinations for migrant workers must be done at hospitals designated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. This page is for general employment checkups and tests your employer asks for.

Is it covered by NHI? What should I bring?

Employment checkups are self-pay and not covered by NHI; your company or you pay the fee. Bring your passport or ARC and your company's form. If the form needs a photo, bring one.

Can a company book a group?

Yes. Call us to arrange a time; we schedule the group in one session and send the reports together.

What if a result is abnormal?

The report marks results outside the normal range and we explain what they mean. If you need further tests or treatment, please take the report to a doctor.
